Oxygen (O2) is commonly paired with acetylene for cutting steel because of its ability to reach higher flame temperatures. Alternatives such as propane, fuel gas, and propylene provide a safer and more economical alternative to acetylene.

Compressed high pressure gas cylinders range is cylinder sizes from 20 cubic feet to over 300 cubic feet and can be delivered in single cylinders or manifolded together in cylinder banks. Compressed gas cylinders are available for rent and purchase. Another rental option is liquid dewars. Tulsa Gas & Gear can provide dewars of cryogenic liquid oxygen, argon, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. These cylinders provide a high quantity of low pressure gas in a mobile package. Do you have a need for high mid to high volume gas supply? Microbulk and bulk systems provide a economical solution for mid to high volume customers. Microbulk gas systems can meet the needs of mid level volumes in argon, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. Beverage grade carbon dioxide can also be provided in a permanent on site tank. If you have high volume needs we can install a cryogenic bulk system in sizes ranging from 500 gallons to over 9,000 gallons of onsite supply. Gas mixers can be added to bulk gas systems to achieve onsite gas blending. MicroBulk and cryogenic bulk tanks can be remotely monitored using telemetry to accurately forecast and schedule refills.
Can your current supplier accurately tell you exactly how many cylinders you have on rent? TGG uses a barcode cylinder tracking system to more reliably and accurate track cylinders. Our closed loop system tracks cylinders from the time they leave our fill plant to the time it returns. Our customers benefit from this system because they are not being overcharged for cylinders they don’t have. The barcode system also allows us to provide our customers with a higher level of quality control. Each batch of filled cylinders is assigned a lot number, and is tracked throughout the cycle of each individual cylinder. Industrial grade gases are not required to be analyzed, but TGG analyzes a cylinder from each welding gas mixture fill to insure mix standards are achieved.
